Focus the Nation National Teach-In
Sarasota County
The Community Teach-in is being offered in conjunction with "Focus the Nation", the national education and civic engagement initiative on global warming solutions. The Community Teach-In is designed to provide free educational opportunities about the latest science-based information on the impacts and solutions of global warming for the general public of the Sarasota County region. These activities are scheduled on January 30th and 31st and at multiple locations in Sarasota County with an all day event at Twin Lakes Park. The Community Teach-In will provide a local and Florida focus that will empower participants to think globally and act locally about global warming. For information on activities and solutions on a national scale, the general public is also encouraged to visit the website for Focus The Nation at http://www.focusthenation.org/
