What is Sustainability?

"Green" has become a household word. "Living Green" and "Green Building" are common themes in today's society. It all begins with Sustainability.
What is "sustainability"?
It is the balance between three elements; Environment, Economics, and Social. You can't be sustainable unless you take all three of these elements into consideration.
Another way to describe this is by using the "three Ps". That's "People", "Prosperity" and the "Planet".
You can't completely sacrifice your prosperity for the environment. That wouldn't be "sustainable". There has to be a balance between these three factors that we need to live a happy, healthy life.
