Money Wise School Enrichment

Grades 1-2 The Money Trail teaches students to identify coins and bills, to understand the value of money, and how to relate this information to the prices of goods and services.

Grades 3-4  Super Shopper teaches students about managing their allowance or the money they receive. It also explains the importance of reading labels for product information.

Grade 5-6  Your Consumer Rights and Responsibilities provides information about how prices of products are determined, comparing products and prices, and the consumer’s responsibilities in the marketplace.

Grade 7-9  Market Place Choices provides information on advertising, retailing practices, sales methods, personal finances, and choosing transportation.

The High School Financial Planning Program
Grades 10 - 12

Description: "The High School Financial Planning Program" that acquaints students with basic financial planning concepts and illustrates how these concepts apply to everyday life. It is designed as a “preventative” program, teaching fiscal responsibility today to help students avoid financial difficulty tomorrow and is designed to provide students with the opportunity to think about their own financial goals and how to attain them.

Materials Each student receives a workbook and student portfolio. Teachers receive Overheads and teaching manual to be returned at the completion of the curriculum.
